Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using this service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Description of Service

Expand Picture is an AI image extension service. You upload an image, choose a target aspect ratio, and use our software to generate an expanded image. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with reasonable notice where possible.

The main image extension feature currently uses the FLUX.2 Pro Outpaint model through fal.ai (fal-ai/flux-2-pro/outpaint). Paid background removal uses Bria RMBG 2.0 through fal.ai (fal-ai/bria/background/remove). Its credit cost is displayed before processing; failed processing returns the deducted credits. General image generation, when available, uses Seedream 5.0 Pro (doubao-seedream-5-0-pro-260628). AI outputs may contain errors or unexpected details; review results before using or publishing them.

User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach.

Welcome credits are a promotional benefit for eligible new users. Creating another account, changing your email, using an email alias or closing an earlier account does not guarantee another gift. Device and network limits apply, and a reward may be withheld while your account remains usable. Creating multiple accounts to repeatedly claim free credits is prohibited.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
• Infringe on the intellectual property or other rights of any party.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or data.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service.
• Use the service to send spam, malware, or other harmful content.

Do not upload, generate, or distribute any of the following through the service:

1. Pornographic, sexually explicit, or other NSFW content.
2. Graphic violence, gore, or content promoting violence.
3. Hateful content or content encouraging discrimination or violence against protected groups.
4. Content that endangers or exploits children, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or sexualized depictions of minors.
5. Deceptive deepfakes, impersonation, or content falsely presenting a real person's identity, actions, or statements.
6. Content that infringes copyright, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights.

Only use material depicting real people if you are the person depicted or have authorization from the people depicted. You must also have the rights needed to use the source material.

Face swaps, simulated nudity, fabricated intimate interactions between real people, and fabricated statements or actions attributed to real people are prohibited, even when the people depicted consent.

We run automated checks on generation prompts and reference images before generation, and on generated images before making them available. Content review uses Gemini 2.5 Flash through fal.ai's OpenRouter Vision service. Flagged content, uncertain assessments and checks that cannot be completed are withheld. Review outcomes are recorded, and reports or appeals may receive manual review. Automated review can make mistakes.

To report prohibited content or appeal an enforcement decision, email hello@expandpicture.com with the task or order identifier, the issue, and any evidence you can lawfully share. We review reports and relevant content, may remove violating content, and may suspend an account's ability to generate images. You can request reconsideration using the same email address.

Payment and Billing

We sell one-time credit packs for using Expand Picture's own image software. The available packs and prices are shown on our pricing page. Each image expansion uses 10 credits, each generated image uses 10 credits, and each background removal, including signature background removal, uses 10 credits. The processing page displays the applicable credit cost before you start. Failed tasks return the credits originally deducted for that task. Credit pack purchases are paid in advance and do not create a recurring subscription or automatic renewal. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout. You are responsible for providing accurate billing information.

Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. To request a refund, email hello@expandpicture.com with your order number and the reason for your request.

Intellectual Property

The service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time if you violate these terms. To request account closure, email hello@expandpicture.com. We will verify your identity before processing an account closure request.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the service.

Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. The current version and its update date are published on this page.
